Bonhams at RAF Hendon today

No major surprises today at the Bonhams sale at the RAF museum Hendon. Plenty of no sales among the higher priced cars which is no surprise given that we are less than a month away from a significant election. There were a few bargains to be had such as a series 1 E-Type 4.2 which went for £44k although the car was far from perfect from what we could see. The interesting result was the near £30,000 paid for a 1922 Morris Oxford 11.9hp Light Tourer. Pre war cars having been getting bad press for some time with diminishing prices and falling demand, but this result would suggest otherwise. The full results list can be accessed here
