Bonhams next UK sale of the year takes place tomorrow at the Bicester Heritage Centre. There are some really interesting and lovely cars in this sale which will test once again the state of the market which we feel is still in reasonably buoyant mood. Cars to tempt those with a large bank balance include a Bentley 3 litre speed roadster estimated at £200,000 to £250,000. There is also a 4.25 litre tourer estimated at £380,000 to £400,000. It was rebodied in the 60s which can take away some of the appeal, but the estimate looks about right. For the unusual an Allard L-Type Tourer estimated at £40,000 to £50,000.A car that appears to be estimated on the conservative side is a Volvo P1800S at just £12,000 to £16,000. Another cheap car might be an MG TF1500 which has been in the same family ownership for 50 years. It is estimated at £15,000 to £20,000 which again might be a little conservative given the rarity of these cars. For true rarity there is an Aston Martin V8 Zagato pre production car estimated at £300,000 to £340,000.
