Historics

Historics latest sale at the Brooklands Museum generated good results and their decision to place a good number of no reserve cars within each sale certainly helps to draw in buyers. There was as always a good mix of cars on offer with a few rarities such as a 1952 Austin A90 Atlantic which sold for within estimate at £19,880.Early Spitfires continue to command a premium over the later models and a Spitfire 4 sold towards the lower end of its estimate at £16,000. Triumph Dolomite Sprints still look great value and with relatively few left on the roads the rebuilt no reserve example in this sale was always going to generate good interest which pushed the price up to just short of £10,000.Sticking with Triumph, another no reserve car in this sale was a 47,000 mile Triumph Stag which went on to achieve a top price of £22,074.
