End of year auction fatigue may have settled in for the last H&H auction of the year with just over 60% of 107 lots finding new homes. H&H held the auction at the Chateau Impney Hotel providing a very pleasant backdrop to peruse a very good selection of cars. There were some good results and although the sale rate was down a little it was the end of the year and with this in mind we felt the auction was very much a success providing a good cross section of cars to choose from. Our pick of the bunch was a rather nice TVR Taimar, a car that has been overlooked for some time but we feel is now starting to find a following and rightly so given that it is a pretty car that has a good power plant and is actually quite rare. This example in particular is one of what are believed to be only ten SE models in existence. The car achieved just over £14000 which was well deserved in our view.
