Bonhams Speed Week sale held this past weekend at the Goodwood event of the same name generated a low sale rate, but bearing in mind we are in the middle of a pandemic and the cars on offer were right at the top end despite some some fantastic cars being available, it was perhaps not that surprising. There were still lots of good results and at any other time we believe the numbers would have been a lot better, but with pandemic restrictions now taking effect across the country people are less inclined at the moment to travel to auction viewing days. The result of the day was probably the £1,269.400 paid for a 1967 Ferrari 330 GT. Other sale results include £276,000 paid for an Aston Martin DB4 Series 1. A concours 1974 Ferrari Dino GTS sold for £300,000.A nice 1936 Lagonda LG45 Sports Tourer sold for £172,500. The low mileage car of the sale was a 6,000 mile 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS Targa which achieved £109,250.
