Bonhams online Bicester sale appears to have gone well, but it has still provided some bargain classics for those seeking a pre war car. In particular we high light the Vauxhall 20/60 Fastback which has sold for just £23,625 including premium, a substantial discount to what these cars were selling for three to four years ago and even in today's money that still looks cheap.A Rolls Royce Phantom 1 that is a partially completed restoration sold for £30,375 which again seems cheap even for a car needing work given that these cars have commanded the best part of £100k and then some in recent years. Another incomplete restoration, but not one needing a huge amount of work was a 1931 Sunbeam 16hp Doctor's Coupe which made just over £14k, again a car that should be worth considerably more if finished well. Pre war cars such as Austin Sevens continue to make steady money and several no reserve examples made what you would expect including a nice looking APD military tourer which made £9k. A 1934 Talbot AV105 made £61,875 which again isn't much money for a good useable example which have been making the best part of £100k and more in recent years.
