Anglia Car Auctions

Anglia Car Auctions latest mammoth sale went down well once again on Saturday with some strong prices achieved for the best cars. The Maserati 3500GT restoration project far exceeded its rather conservative estimate of £25,000-£35,000 to end at £117,600 which looks about right given that a restored example will achieve closer to the £200,000 mark. The outstanding car of the auction for us was the Triumph GT6 which was a previous concours winner and the condition really was close to showroom. The final price of £17,325 was probably an auction record and certainly well worth every penny given the likely restoration costs of achieving the condition this example was in. Another car that caught our eye was the BMW 2002 cabriolet which is a model of BMW that has been long overlooked by the market and has considerable potential for capital appreciation in our view, This car appeared to be in exceptionally good condition and at £11.970 it was unsurprising to see it end up with a dealer.
