Anglia Car Auctions

Anglia Car Auctions opening auction for 2015 was incredibly busy with literally hundreds of people queuing outside to get in at 10am. In all of the years we have been attending their auctions we have never seen as many people in attendance. Inside it was difficult to move at times and it was disappointing that with so many people in the room it was not possible for many to view the cars as they came up for auction. Nevertheless this did not stop some feverish bidding with notable results being over £20k paid for a Ford Capri 3.0s and over £9k paid for a Ford Fiesta XR2, both of which were in super condition whilst the former had some excellent provenance being the car Corgi copied for their model although we noted that the auction catalogue made no mention of this. There were a good number of cars in superb order and that was undoubtedly reflected in many of the prices achieved. There were few bargains to be had given the sheer number of people bidding but well done to ACA for amassing a huge array of cars for their first auction of the year.
